    Firefox DRM error??

Hi, I wonder if anyone else has had this problem: I used WMP v.10 to play a video. I get a popup window to acquire a license from a site. After connecting for a few secs, the popup window then displays the error message that I need to have Firefox installed to play the movie. The problem is, I already have FF installed, and it's even my primary browser. On Google, I have seen some stuff about Win XP and WMP10 having compatibility problems with DRM, and installing a program called drm10fix.exe may fix the problem. I wonder if it is WMP10 that is causing the weird FF error msg, but I don't want to install anything on my PC until I am sure. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I should do? Thank you.

I have never seen an error like you are describing.  There would never be a reason why Microsoft would require Firefox to play a WM10 file.  There must be some other problem at the root of this.  What was the link?  Maybe I can take a look and see what is happening.
